Listed Grade II being of architectural and historic importance, Rigery Farmhouse is of 16th century origins with a 17th century wing and further 20th century additions. The north end was originally an open hall house with the first floor being added at a later date. The house is constructed of timber frame with plastered panels under a clay-tiled roof.
Internally the house is beautifully presented, with light and spacious reception rooms and four comfortable bedrooms on the first floor. Of particular note is the well-designed kitchen/breakfast room with a central island, an Aga, and open plan through to the conservatory with fine views over the lake.
Outside is an excellent range of outbuildings including the indoor swimming pool set in a traditional timber framed barn. There is a stable block with two stables and a tack room and two very useful barns, one of 2,677 square feet and the other, 1,592 square feet.
A principal feature of the property is the superb parkland setting. The house lies at the heart of 50 acres of grassland, planted with a selection of deciduous and evergreen trees, with a large lake providing a focal point.
